Group Business Analyst

Our client, a market leading employer of choice and innovative FTSE 100, is looking to source a top calibre Group Business Analyst to join its talented Group FP&A function. You will work closely with the FP&A Manager to provide analytical support and review MI in preparation of the business plans and forecasting.

This business operates a highly successful talent planning scheme and you will benefit from multiple rotations and a clear path for progression. Ideally this individual will be in role for 12 - 18 months before looking for their next internal challenge.

Main duties include:
* Collating, reviewing and analysing trading statement, investor day, half yes and full year data
* Own the data and building flexibility to change and adjust to improve process
* Assisting in the budgeting and forecasting to produce a robust spreadsheet model
* Reviewing the financial outputs to be presented and update to accommodate current trends or KPIs
* Working with the KP&A Manager to identify and model scenarios to test
* Preparing boards papers for the Group FD
* Enhancing current models and processes or redesign where appropriate
* Assisting with other corporate projects and ad hoc analysis

The role would suit an ACA/ACCA/CIMA finalist or newly qualified with experience in an analytical, business facing role or from top 10 practice. You must have strong data management experience and excellent attention to detail. Good working knowledge of Excel is also key. You will be well versed working in fast-paced, challenging environments and consistently meeting deadlines.

Candidates must have examples to date where you have demonstrated a clear ability to build effective stakeholder relationships, externally of finance, utilising a confident, professional and credible character to influence others and liaise with Senior Managers/Directors.
