I am currently recruiting this fantastic opportunity working for one of my City Centre clients. Forming part of a FTSE 250 group, this company have an excellent culture and have operated successfully, building an enviable reputation in the city since the late 1900's.

They are looking for a motivated Assistant Management Accountant to assist in providing senior management financial reporting to support in making critical business decisions. This role would suit someone who is CIMA/ACCA part CIMA qualified with excellent analytical and inter-personal skills. The role will involve supporting continuous process improvement with regards to month end reporting and internal controls. See the main responsibilities below:

• Support Management Accountant on preparation of monthly finance pack
• Assist in analysis of management accounts to include identification and reconciliation of variances to budget
• Assist in the preparation of forecasts and budgets
• Balance Sheet reconciliations including monthly bank reconcilations
• Assist in the preparation of the weekly cashflow forecast
• Assist with the Quarterly VAT return for the subsidiaries
• Provide cover for the Management Accountant during periods of absence
• Other ad-hoc analysis and financial tasks.
