Group Accountant

My client situated in Rochester are looking to recruit a Group Accountant to come on board on a permanent basis. This role will require someone to independently prepare & present monthly and annual accounts of two support companies within the group. The day to day duties will include but not be limited to:

• Full P&L
• Full balance Sheet with reconciliations
• Cash Flow Statement and cash flow forecast
• Getting the accounts Audited (Statutory)
• Preparing full balance sheet
• Preparing Cash flow statements
• Prepare Monthly financial commentary
• Reconciling key ledgers (e.g. Inventory, Debtors and creditors)
• Ensure accruals and prepayment of expenses and reconciliation thereof.
• Preparing and submitting VAT returns for these entities.
• Posting of accounting entries
• Invoicing and banking transactions

This role would suit someone who actively studying towards their ACCA or CIMA qualification with the desire to develop their career.
