Head of FP&A

A growing technology business are searching for a new Head of FP&A to be based in Berkshire. The position reports into the Group CFO, and is a perfect step for an ambitious qualified accountant looking to step into a No.2 position.

Head of Financial Planning and Analysis (“FP&A”). This is a stand-alone role though opportunity to draw on project resource as needed.

Overall responsibility for the financial planning, budgeting, forecasting and analysis for the group. Ensure that the group has a credible, challenging financial plan and in-year budget with appropriate financial targets for our business leaders. Ensure that performance is measured against these targets and issues/opportunities are identified early.

• Lead the annual financial planning process
• Lead the annual budgeting process
• Lead the quarterly re-forecasting process
• Financial owner of the group’s orderbook and bid pipeline
• Analyse the group’s monthly financial results and re-forecasts
• Undertake specific analysis projects; for example
  • Product profitability
  • Pipeline / Orderbook health
  • Market / Competitor analysis

The CFO is looking for a talented individual, and has an open mind on background. There are a number of paths you may have taken. You may be from a large company background, looking to move into a slightly smaller business in a more senior role. You are looking for more international experience, or more exposure to the board. The most important attribute is drive and determination to succeed.

Package: up to £70,000 plus package
