Management Accountant

Management Accountant. Our client, a successful business, is looking for a commercially aware part or newly qualified individual, who wishes to join a service sector business as Management Accountant. You will be the driver of change. Preferably part qualified or newly qualified or qualified by experience, you will be ambitious, credible, with good judgement, and have a high drive for achievement. You will possess excellent influencing skills, to include non-finance people. Working as a business partner with the Finance Director, and the Head of Financial Planning and Analysis, you will be a highly motivated accountant, seeking the next step in your career. You will work with operations to identify costs and implement cost reduction and margin improvement initiatives. Maintain and Develop Reporting mechanisms to identify costs and other variances.
*KPI's including comparison of actual results to budget and forecast.
* Monthly Contribution analysis.
*Weekly and monthly KPI's with reference to Operational performance
*Monthly management accounts
*Annual Budgets and monthly forecasts
* Month end Accruals & pre-payments
* Strong Excel skills are essential.
