Are you studying towards your ACCA/CIMA Accountancy Qualification? Do you have a strong skillset for process improvement? Have you got a passion for building strong relationships with internal & external stakeholders?

A hugely exciting global business based in Manchester City Centre are looking for a General Ledger Team Associate to and add value by improving processes in place at the moment. The right candidate will be ambitious, seeking the chance to add value and strengthen your already excellent skills.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Working within the General Ledger Team to assist with accruals & prepayments
  • Month end and year end reporting
  • Ensuring the timely closure of period end in accordance with IFRS requirements
  • Liaising with external audit teams
  • Maintain & improve the relationships with all key suppliers
  • VAT Returns
  • Preparation and completion of financial accounts

Key Skills and Experience

  • Experience of working with IFRS & Financial Accounts
  • ACCA/CIMA Part-Qualified
  • SAP experience would be beneficial
  • Proven ability to add value and enhance processes
