Are you a Big 4 / Top 10 trained ACA Qualified Accountant with circa 0-3 years PQE?
Would you like to join a market leading international media business in their Internal Audit function, where you will be expected to show your commercial acumen and use this role as a springboard in to a central finance role.
We are looking for someone with a progressive CV, either operating within a Top 10 Practice, or perhaps already within and Internal Audit / Control function within a major blue-chip.
What's Essential:
- Experience auditing large blue-chip organisations
- Demonstrating excellent stakeholder engagement with strong influencing & negotiation skills
- Outstanding Written and verbal communication skills
- The ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
- Willingness to travel - you will be located overseas for 30-40% of the time
This role will require you to provide independent objective assurance to the Audit Committee on the effectiveness of risk management and the internal control environment. To support the business to accomplish its objectives by bringing a systematic, disciplined approach to evaluate and improve the effectiveness of risk management, control and governance processes as well as providing consulting advice designed to add value and improve operations.
Working in small teams across all Group operations, this role involves strong planning and organisational skills to run efficient and effective audits. The audits involve face to face meetings, data analysis and significant report writing therefore strong communication skills both verbal and written are required and the ability to build rapport and strong relationships with stakeholders. A strong team player is required with strong influencing and negotiation skills and the ability to work effectively with diverse client groups.
