As a leading global Investment Management group, this highly successful business focuses on infrastructure and real estate to create real value for investors, project partners, communities and end users. Operating globally, with a head office in London, the organisation has doubled in size in the past 2 years and with $10bn++ of equity capital in funds, is enjoying ambitious expansion across all revenue streams. As a result, the company is recruiting for a 2:1/1st class graduate qualified accountant to undertake a no. 1 Financial Controller role. Supporting the Infrastructure team, you will lead the management and financial reporting function, financial and treasury management and the finance team working across various secondary infrastructure funds. A broad brief includes:

•Acting as a finance business partner to the Portfolio Director, developing strong relationships with the portfolio management team, investment executives & analysts & key external 3rd party service providers, banks and auditors
•Driving financial aspects of IFRS published accounts including management of the audit process
•Production of quarterly management & statutory accounts of intermediate holding companies
•Financial & treasury cash management including FX hedging management, monitoring investment receipts & withholding tax requirements
•Tax compliance, bank & covenant compliance reporting
•Assisting with establishment of investment vehicles including set-up of bank accounts, tax registrations, administrator appointments, local accountant appointments
•Ongoing management of relationships with accounting service providers based in UK, Guernsey, Luxembourg, Canada, France & USA
•Reviewing & implementing accounting policies, processes & financial controls
•Day to day management & development of the infrastructure finance team

As a 2:1/1st class graduate and qualified ACA, CIMA or ACCA, you will demonstrate post qualification experience, ideally gained within the PFI sector, in technical and statutory accounting, audit, tax and financial control. The role demands a rigorous analytical and results-oriented approach, numerical dexterity and outstanding interpersonal skills. The ability to influence and build robust relationships with key stakeholders is prerequisite to the success of the role. You may be an incumbent Group Finance Manager or Controller or Head of Finance at present, seeking a step up in responsibility and early career development and succession planning opportunity to a CFO role in the next 2 years.
