Job description

As a leading, international family & PE fund, we are looking for an experienced, highly qualified Management & Fund Accountant. In this role, you will oversee the management and fund accounting of the international entities and funds, as well as management accounts for the various portfolio companies. This is a great opportunity to get exposure to a varied set of work and work in a dynamic young team. The company is open to management accountants who take an interest in learning about fund accounting as well. For this role, a CIMA/ACCA/ACA qualification is required, plus 2-5 years of experience in management accounting, preferably working with international accounting standards.

Tasks

• Ensure accurate set up of new accounting procedures, tools and processes as the fund is relatively new and processes are still in early stages
• Support fund and investment portfolio on ad-hoc analysis required
• Support investment team on financial due diligence during the latter part of the investment process to ensure the investment committee is fully aware of any financial or accounting risks involved.
• Work closely with portfolio companies on producing accurate management accounts, and advise on any challenges and issues that they may face
• Oversee and ensure accurate fund accounting and compliance, supported by the fund bookkeeper and operations director
