Plant Controller

SF Group are currently recruiting for a Financial Controller for a Banbury based automotive manufacturing client.

This is an exciting time to join the company as it goes through a period of growth. The role will suit a dynamic individual who can work closely with the Finance Director in ensuring the company's financial targets and objectives are met.

Main duties and responsibilities for this role are as follows:

• Managing, developing and motivating a small finance team of varying experience
• Ownership of budgeting and forecasting requirements
• Responsible for delivering board packs and MI to enable commercial decision making
• Demonstrate knowledge of all elements of plant financial statements and partner with plant management to drive continuous improvement in plant efficiency and profitability
• Prepare the annual budget for presentation to company management including plant department expenses, hourly labour budget, capital spending budget, raw material costing, standard costs for finished goods, manufacturing variances plan, and inventory plan
• Prepare monthly plant forecasts and ad-hoc analysis as required

The Person:

• ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified accountant
• Strong financial control skills
• Minimum of 3 years post-qualification experience
• The natural ability to influence and develop relationships
• Track record of people management
• Experience of manufacturing
