I'm currently partnered with a fast growing FTSE listed media business based in central London. This is a great opportunity to join a company which is investing heavily in its international growth and has now enjoyed double digit growth for the past 14 quarters in the UK.

We are looking for a fast-track ambitious Qualified ACA with 2-4 years PQE who has the talent, drive and potential to progress within this fast paced growing business.

You could be an Assistant/Manager within a Top 10 Practice or alternatively you could already be working within industry in a group reporting role, in either case it's important you are technically strong on IFRS and Excel, with a genuine flair for report writing and providing insightful commentary.

This is a high profile role with have significant exposure at Exec level, providing technical insight and guidance, together with support on a variety of ad-hoc finance related projects driven by the growth of the business.

The Core Duties will include:

  • Preparation of the annual report and interim financial statements of the Group, and ownership of of the Group's subsidiary entities.
  • Year end audit and the interim review, including in leading the preparation of the Accounting Matters Report for the Board
  • Lead and manage the contact with and providing assistance to the Group's auditors.
  • Responsibility of technical advice and guidance internally within finance and externally outside finance in relation to IFRS accounting treatment of various matters, and keeping abreast of the latest accounting disclosures/changes.
  • Lead the preparation of quarterly reporting information, communicated externally and internally to the FD/CFO
  • Lead the inter-company reconciliation and elimination process at month end and year end.
  • Responsibility for timely and accurate filing of the tax returns for all UK companies in close co-operation with the Group's tax advisors.
  • Support ad hoc initiatives and analysis.

Requirements:

  • ACA/ACCA Qualified
  • Strong academics (degree educated)
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong excel capabilities
  • SOX experience desirable, not essential
