Commercial Finance Manager

Commercial Finance Manager required for my high growth client within the FMCG sector who supply a quality range of quality goods to the major retailers.

This newly created post will report directly into the Group Financial Director and will gain day to day exposure to the senior management within each of the Groups divisions with a view to providing strategic insight to maximise future opportunities whilst reducing risk and assisting with 5 year planning.

The Commercial Finance Managers remit will be to gain a clear and current operational understanding of each of the divisions activities and sector marketplace, providing a consolidated overview to assist the board in supporting future decision making and 5 year year planning, Investment appraisal, due diligence and provide periodic forecasting.

Accountabilities and duties include: Provision of business partnering the divisional heads, analysing competitor activity and market trends, production of consolidated reports along with commentary, assisting with budgeting and forecasting, divisional P&L review, ad-hoc analysis and project work.

This role is perfectly suited to a practice trained ACA or ACCA qualified accountant with circa 3 to 6 years post qualified experience looking for a commercial role within a fast moving and investing business.
