Finance Systems Manager

Our client, based in London central, is a FTSE listed multinational services organisation currently embarking on and investing heavily in a Group-wide IT improvement programme. They are seeking to connect with an ambitious and IT savvy Finance Systems Manager to take ownership of processes and systems supporting the Group consolidation system and play a key role in future finance-related IT projects and systems upgrades.

Key responsibilities:

• Responsible for the Group IFRS consolidation system and monthly system consolidation activities
• Manage change and evolution in the finance IT landscape at Group level
• Provide advice to the wider financial control team to improve operational efficiency and information exchange
• Participate in cross-functional working groups to seek and develop new ways of working
• Maintain external and internal relationships and sources to learn and understand best practice developments

Candidate Profile:

• Qualified Accountant
• Significant experience and focus of IT within the finance function of a global organisation
• Able to understand technical IT matters and be familiar with financial consolidation system set up, configurations, controls and processes
• Experience of both owning and maintaining Group wide finance IT systems
• Able to articulate complex IT related matters to an interested but non-specialist audience
