Management Accountant

Partner Financial is working with an exciting media and entertainment business based in London with a global footprint who have built a reputation for quality, having won various awards for their content. The business has ambitious plans to grow over the next 3 – 5 years and are now implementing new strategies to secure their position for the future.

The business are now looking for an interim Management Accountant whilst they re-align the finance structure who can effectively providing accounting and analytical support to the Finance Director, managing balance sheet, working capital and the applicable controls.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supporting the preparation of the month-end results;
• Analysis of variances to budgets and forecasts;
• Assisting in preparing month-end balance sheet reconciliations;
• Supporting the T&E processes and making sure the controls and robust and fit for purpose;
• Working with the Financial Accountant at year-end to help complete the audit;
• Maintaining the cashflow model and assisting with cashflow management across the service lines;
• Working on various ad-hoc projects, including system work and process improvement;

The ideal candidate will be:

• Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
• Have extensive management accounting experience;
• Must be able to influence outcomes at a senior level;
• Be ambitious, driven and energetic, demonstrating a natural ability to influence;
• Have the ability to take ownership at month end;
• Will demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills and be able to build strong relationships.
