Factory Accountant

SF Group are currently recruiting for a Factory Accountant for a successful manufacturing company in Newark. This company is a market leader in its field, and follows a lean process methodology.

As the Factory Accountant you will be reporting directly into the CFO and will be supporting the site management team.

Key responsibilities:

• Design and production of a daily P&L for the factory to monitor labour costs against output levels
• Production of monthly labour forecasts by project
• Resource planning to forecast required future labour levels by project, based on the factory programme
• Assist in the management of the company's piecework system for factory remuneration
• Assist with stock reporting with goal of helping the company to minimise stock and wastage
• Assist in the implementation of the company's proposed new IT system and post implementation to assist in the management a new system
• Ad hoc financial responsibilities for the CFO and FC

You will be full or part qualified or equivalent (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) with previous experience of working in a manufacturing environment. You will have strong IT skills including Excel, as well as analytical skills. You will have excellent communication skills and people skills, with the ability to build rapport across the business at all levels.
