Financial Accountant

The Client-          A UK wide challenger bank

The role-              An exciting role has arisen for a newly qualified accountant to join the Head Office of this challenger bank. Responsibilities include:

• Reconciliation of the source systems to the general ledger
• Completing daily bank reconciliations
• Providing daily, weekly and monthly reporting
• Identifying areas within the system/process that can be improved and providing solutions.
• Creating and maintaining strong relationships with respective business areas and outsource adminstation supplier
• Project Work
• Month End including accruals and EIR. Accounting for clawbacks and interest income.
• Preparation of Audit Information
• Collating information for Regulatory returns.
• Risk Compliance reporting
• Fixed Assets

Key Requirements-        

• Qualified with a professional body such as ACA or ACCA
• Educated to degree level
• Experience of working in Banking/Financial Services is desirable
