Alexander Daniels is working in partnership with a large consultancy based business in central Cheltenham. The business is looking to capitalise on their recent business growth and client wins with the appointment of an assured Finance Manager to manage and lead the team.
You will be a responsible for a client portfolio completing all accounting functions for these businesses including management accounts, payroll, VAT, multi-currency, statutory returns and other ad-hoc duties. You will need to be a strong manager as the role requires you to lead a team of both junior and senior accountants.
This is an exciing time for the business and with an average of 30 new clients per month, so the Finance Manager will be essential to help steer and grow the team. This is a new role and the successful candidate will also have the advantage to grow with the business with genuine prospects to advance their career and influence the future shape of the finance department.
Ideally you will be Qualified (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) or Qualified by experience with recent experience of managing a team and having worked in a professional servives environment.
