Finance Director

Hudson James Human Capital Group is proud to be working on an exclusive basis with our rapidly expanding FMCG Client based in Gloucestershire, to appoint a Finance Director. This role sits within the senior leadership team, working alongside the CEO, and offers scope for significant progression.

Over the past 5 years, this highly innovative and entrepreneurial SME has grown rapidly on an organic and acquisitional basis. They have developed a range of highly attractive products and continue to push the boundaries with new product development, entering new markets.

This is an exceptional opportunity for a commercially astute Finance Director to add significant value to the organisation and senior leadership team through providing strategic direction for the next phase of the company’s growth and development.

Responsibilities include:

• Outlining company strategy alongside CEO and providing advice to CEO and Senior Leadership team to influence key business decisions.
• Build effective relationships both internally and externally and provide financial insight to non-finance individuals.
• Regularly discuss financial performance with Senior Leadership team, indicating any areas for concern and providing insight on problem solving.
• Implementation and regular overview of financial controls.
• Overseeing and development of the Finance department.

To be a successful candidate for this opportunity, you will have extensive FMCG experience, ideally within food. You will be able to demonstrate senior financial leadership, particularly in line with company strategy and development. You must be a Qualified Accountant with a number of years PQE.
