Accountant – AAT (Practice)

Our client is an expanding top 15 accountancy practice with offices across the UK and internationally. They are now looking for an Accountant to join their team in Nottingham. 

This is an excellent opportunity for an AAT qualified or QBE practice accountant with proven management accounting, VAT and bookkeeping experience looking to take on a new challenge with a growing, highly successful practice. 

As an Accountant, you will join the Client Support Department and provide a number of accounting services to a portfolio of clients. 

Reporting to the Manager or a Partner, you will offer accountancy, bookkeeping and VAT services to your clients. 

As part of your role, you will work from clients’ premises as and when required to ensure levels of service and relationships are maintained. 

Interested? To be considered, you will need: 

- Experience in a similar accountancy role within a practice environment 
- Proven experience of --- management accounts, VAT and bookkeeping for a portfolio of clients 
- A good working knowledge of Sage accounting software and Excel 
- To be, at a minimum, AAT qualified or QBE 
- Access to your own transport and a full, valid driving licence to undertake client visits 

Dedicated and proactive, as an Accountant, you must be organised and hardworking with strong communication skills, a great eye for detail and a customer-focused approach. 

Experience of cloud accounting would be beneficial to your application, however this is not essential as training will be provided. 

The working hours for this role are 37.5 hours per week, Monday – Friday. However, for the right candidate part-time hours will be considered.
