My client, a global banking and financial services company are looking to hire several finance change analysts on a permanent basis. As part of the team you will work on a variety of topics across Finance and the Bank in an international environment.

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Leading and managing small stand-alone projects or work streams in larger projects from the Finance Change portfolio
  • Responsible for the co-ordination and organisation of effective communication within or outside the project as well as overall responsibility for in-quality delivery within an agreed time frame
  • Leading and managing complex analyses, development of solution scenarios as well as quantifying the cost versus benefit impact with the objective to elaborate suitable concepts for the Bank
  • Assuming responsibility and playing an active, decisive role in further developing the division,  as well as developing best practices and methods

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Previous work experience in the Financial Services industry and a good understanding of its competitive landscape
  • Experienced across multiple disciplines of change e.g. business analysis, process improvement and design, change or transformation projects, structured problem solving, test management
  • Advanced knowledge and first-hand experience in project management and governance along with the ability to provide support and guidance on the related processes, procedures and tools to all the project stakeholders
  • Experienced in delivering results effectively in changing environments or projects that are nonlinear, fast-paced and often characterised by incomplete information and stakeholder dis-agreements
  • Experienced in effective stakeholder management and able to balance different interests
  • Willingness and ability to constructively interact with other people across teams as well as the motivation to support and coach junior colleagues within their professional and personal development and act as a role model
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English across all levels including advanced experience in preparing and delivering presentations as well as the ability to easily adapt to different audiences
  • Advanced knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office products (e.g. Excel, Word, Visio, PowerPoint, Project)
  • Any of the following certificates will be beneficial: PRINCE 2 / Project Management Institute (or equivalent), Yellow Belt or Green Belt, Certified Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA), Association of Chartered Accountants (ACA),  Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) (or equivalent)
  • Ability to develop innovative ways in approaching own tasks within the team and driving for new or alternative solutions in order to resolve existing and emerging business problems
  • Educated to Bachelor’s degree level or above, preferably with a focus on economics, business administration, mathematics, (business) informatics (or equivalent qualification / work experience)
