Corporate Services
Full time (37.5 hours per week)

Supporting our Healthcare Services team in Preston to deliver a high quality service to a portfolio of clients, primarily consisting of GP practice partnerships and small corporate clients.  

The key responsibilities of the role will include: 

  • Actively managing a range of clients, preparing assignments for partner review (accounts, tax, superannuation, reviews, benchmarking and briefing notes) or for completion without partner review on specifically authorised clients.      
  • Managing a team to effectively deliver both annual compliance services and ad hoc services for that portfolio.
  • Collating raw data for projects and summarising into a format suitable for review and amendment, for example, projections and reports.     
  • Managing and developing staff in training and ensuring assignments are adequately resourced.     
  • Taking an active role in the management of the Healthcare Services team based in Nottingham, supporting partners/directors with departmental administration including staff appraisals, procedural compliance and monitoring departmental performance.     
  • Participating in business development activities and seeking out opportunities to refer other services to clients.
  • Developing and maintaining strong client relationships and highlight issues for partner input.

The successful applicant will need to be able to plan and prioritise their own workload, meet deadlines, be able to communicate with clients and colleagues in a professional manner and be a good team player to ensure the team as a whole meets its objectives.

To be considered for this position, applicants will need to possess the following: 

  • ACA/ACCA/CTA Qualification
  • Previous experience of managing a portfolio of clients and a team of staff within a practice environment 
  • Good communication skills       
  • Good IT skills, including Word and Excel      
  • Strong technical ability regarding accounts and tax compliance matters     
  • Attention to detail      
  • A driving licence and a car insured for business use  

Experience of medical practice accounts will be advantageous.
