Bury St Edmunds, United Kingdom – Our client, a prestigious national employer is seeking to recruit a Site Finance Manager following a restructure.

Reporting to the Finance Business Partner – Ops, the Site Finance Manager will be part of the site management team, providing business partnering to performance managers and engineering manager and will be site lead for all financial and stock control activities both within operations and product availability. As Site Finance Manager you will business partner with the performance manager and engineering manager to drive a culture of performance and financial awareness and use financial and operational knowledge to work with the site operations and projects teams to calculate and verify financial benefits on capital projects.  You will deliver core financial reporting processes including period end, forecasts and budgets for all areas of the site and provide confidence in the accuracy and understanding of variances in period end results and movements in budgets and forecasts.

As Site Finance Manager you will maintain robust physical and accounting controls for stock and ensure stock takes are carried out across the whole of the site, accurately and attended by finance where appropriate. You will ensure the sites are aware of, and comply with internal control requirements, developing plans to rectify and support implementation of enhancements. You will lead and develop the finance team, developing a culture of high performance and continuous improvement aiming to promote a ‘one site’ approach in everything you do.

The successful candidate will be a qualified accountant (CIMA, ACA, ACCA) with the ability to influence effectively and ideally previous experience within a manufacturing environment and a proven track record of making change and business partnering in a commercial manufacturing environment. You will be able to demonstrate a desire to drive continuous improvement to existing processes and will have the enthusiasm and proven leadership skills to improve accounting skills and knowledge within the team and develop strong relationships with key stakeholders and non-financial teams.
