Finance Business Partner

My high growth multi-site retailer is restructuring the finance team to ensure that future return on investment is maximised, thus they have created a brand-new role as Finance Business Partner / Commercial Analyst in order to drive future performance and run a number of ongoing decision support projects.

Whilst reporting to and acting as deputy to the Commercial Finance Manager your remit will be to engage with and support the regional sales teams and senior management to champion financial awareness, eliminate risk on future acquisitions and give clarity on return of investment.

As a key member of the Commercial Finance team your role will cover 3 major headings - planning, business performance and Investment appraisal.

Day to day duties include: Ongoing development of suite of reports, providing commentary on operational trends, suggesting actions on financial improvement, assisting with annual budget, forecasting future financial performance, holding regular meetings with budget holders, assisting the management accounting team, development of KPI's to develop business drivers, assisting with the capital spending review process, analysis of year on year financial trends and project work.

This role requires a commercially focussed CIMA, ACCA or ACA qualified accountant looking for an opportunity to develop within a highly successful and profitable business. There will ongoing support but this is very much a role that you can make your own and gain recognition and progression in a rewarding environment.
