Financial Accounting Manager

This position will manage a diverse team of transactional finance staff and enable someone with finance and management experience to build on and develop their skills in a complex and challenging yet supportive environment.

Responsibilities include
*Day to day operations of the financial accounting team of five
*Working to strict deadlines and ensuring workloads are managed in order to deliver accurate and timely processing
*Financial month end processing including prepayments and accruals
*Prepare and/or authorise multiple reconciliation including petty cash and bank accounts
*Work to improve on systems and process to improve efficiency and value for money
*Maintain and take ownership for a large number of bank accounts, including setting up direct debits
*Submitting BACS payments and processing reports
*Checking and authorising multicurrency and high value payments
*Actively support team to increase efficiency and performance
*Processing of fixed assets and investments

The ideal candidate will have management experience with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team. You will have financial transactional experience and have good attention to detail, with the ability to work to strict deadlines.
