Part Time Financial Controller

A professional services organisation based in the heart of the Thames valley are looking for Part Time Financial Controller to work 5 days per week totalling approximately 20 hours. The role will cover:

• Preparation of the Management Accounts on a monthly basis to an agreed timetable
• Variance reports on actual v forecast
• Key Performance Analysis and commentary
• Debt Collection in consultation with Litigation partner
• Oversee accounts staff in maintaining the integrity of the accounting data through to production of trial balance
• Prepare and review budgets and forecasts.
• Manage the cash flow position
• Quarterly VAT returns and EC Sales Lists
• Process payroll including auto enrolment pension
• Attend monthly Board meetings - presenting financial reports

Suitable applicants are likely to be Qualified or Qualified by Experience Accountants with full knowledge of current UK GAAP and a working knowledge of accounting business systems and Microsoft Office. High levels of integrity and accuracy are essential as is a strong team ethic in an SME environment. Articulate interpersonal skills, comfortable communicating at all levels both internally and externally.
