Interim Finance Director

Interim Finance Director required by Private Equity backed business during a period of change, this role is tasked with project managing the day to day finance while preparing the business from a manageability and operational perspective. The Finance Director will support key members of the senior management team to deliver a five-year plan focused on strategy and M&A activities in line with robust deliverables and controls.

Key stakeholders include finance and no finance specifically tax, IT and legal functions both internally and externally. As well as the five-year plan, the successful candidate will have had exposure to the following; budgeting and forecast to include consolidation of results for submission to the Managing Director; management of the KPI financial analyses; provision of strategic direction; developing a back-office infrastructure to support various changes; the development of planning tools and reports and a keen awareness of the commercial and operational impact of change.

You will have worked in fast paced acquisitive environments before and be well versed in the provision of big picture commercial insight and direction support as well as a background in an empathy with day to day financial control. It is imperative that candidates have experience of and a tenacity towards leadership and the coaching of teams during periods of change management.

Ideally ACA/ACCA qualified with a degree/masters, experience of M&A and extensive internal and external stakeholder management with a commercially driven environment maintaining a sense of the importance of people to a business.
