Head of Financial, Planning & Analysis - £75000 Immediate Start
Your new company
A leading manufacturing business are working in partnership with Hays Senior Finance in seeking a Head of FP&A to join their highly experienced team in covering a maternity leave. The successful candidate will join the company at an exciting time as they experiencing a period of growth and development; working alongside the GCFO you will implement accurate forecast processes, improve budget processes and develop qualitative variance analysis processes.
Your new role
Reporting directly with the GCFO you will be responsible for variance analysis, interpretation of the regional, corporate and consolidated accounts at group level, preparing ad hoc analysis on product and customer profitability, support the business units/regions in the financial support and analyses, ensure compliance to external reporting, continuously updating and streamlining group reporting procedures, prepare the management reporting, coordination of budgeting and forecast processes, in depth analysis on group financials, group cash flow forecast and analysis and strategic analysis.
What you'll need to succeed
You must be qualified CIMA/ACCA and ideally you will be Big Four trained with manufacturing experience but this is not essential. Your PQE experience will ideally have been within a global organisation. You must have a flexible notice period or be immediately available this role requires an immediate start. Alongside your accounts experience you must have excellent interpersonal skills as this role requires effective communication with all levels of individuals due to the global nature of this business. You must be an excellent problem solver, be accurate, add value without affecting the core responsibility of the role. You must also have the ability to be tactful and diplomatic whilst maintaining focus, tenacity and determination. The ability to participate in foreign travel when required in order to visit key internal customers as the project schedule dictates.
