The Finance Business Partner will be responsible for the provision of high quality commercial finance partnering to decision makers within their Global Functions, influencing and challenging to drive long term growth. A permanent position could transpire for the right person after 12 months but career interims are also welcomed.

You will support the Director for Finance Business Partnering in delivering the duties of the department and will be responsible for the following

•    Assist in providing Budgets and Forecasts to support commercial decision making
•    Inform and advise Global Functions decision makers about the financial considerations of their decisions
•    Be the primary point of contact for Commercial Finance partnering within their Global Functions, with regular exposure to Senior Executives, to ensure spend is controlled within budget
•    Challenge and sign off the annual budget for the Global Functions in accordance with the timetable
•    Oversee the forecast preparation for the Global Functions to ensure that it is prepared in accordance with the timetable and its accuracy of reporting 
•    Conduct the financial management of the Global Functions, along with their systems and processes and manage the month end close process for their respective functions 
•    Influence system and process design, driving improved working practices with the Global Functions
•    Investment evaluation, challenging the Global Functions team as required
•    Enhance Pan European reporting framework for Global functions 
•    Other such duties as may be reasonably required by the business

Experience
Career history demonstrates progression, continuity and development of broad skills in Finance arena 
•    Qualified CIMA, ACA, ACCA
•    Demonstrated/hands on experience in the following areas:
o    Communicating with wide range of key stakeholders and senior management 
o    Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills
o    Preparation of budgets & forecasts
o    Variance Analysis 
o    Setting up new processes and streamlining existing ones 
•    Pharma or consumer sector experience is preferred
•    Proven ability to influence, (appropriately) challenge and engage diverse senior stakeholders.  
•    Strong customer focus; in multi-disciplinary, matrix and cross-cultural settings. 
•    Track-record of leading planning process with excellent organisational and collaboration skills
•    Proven compliance expertise; to understand and comply with industry laws and relevant regulations.
•    Coaching and collaboration skills to interact with all levels of personnel to achieve shared goals.
•    Demonstrable examples of ability to develop, coach and enable high performance teams and proactively promote best practice and knowledge sharing.
•    Fluent in written and verbal business English
