Senior Management Accountant

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Management Accountant to join a thriving international financial services company based in Liverpool. The role is perfect for an ACA / ACCA / CIMA Qualified Accountant with strong management accounting expertise, excellent knowledge of fixed asset accounting and experience supervising teams to join a growing market leader at a great time. Excellent communication skills and blue chip experience are essential and the progression opportunities are significant for a candidate who is motivated to contribute to the success of an already successful company.

The Senior Management Accountant will be responsible for:

• Production of monthly management accounts and reporting for multiple entities
• Production of variance analysis and date analysis relating to budgets and cost
• Production of financial statements for multiple entities including liaising with auditors
• Reconciliations – review and attest balance sheet substantiations
• Oversight of fixed assets and reporting / analysing major expenditure
• Oversight of a number of offsite accounting teams with a focus on month-end accounting. balance sheet reconciliations, accounts payable, intercompany reconciliation and prepayment and prepayments
• Ad hoc duties as and when required

Ideally you will have/be:

• ACA / ACCA / CIMA Qualified Accountant
• Experience within a blue chip organisation is essential
• Experience within the financial services sector is advantageous but not essential
• Intermediate-Advanced Excel skills (Vlookups, Pivots)
• Excellent communication skills are essential
