Responsible for a diverse portfolio of clients, this role will be undertaking predominantly audit based work but boasts the rare opportunity to expand your knowledge within other areas of the business including corporate finance and taxation assignments that will require strong technical skills combined with an ability to present in a confident and polished manner, often under pressure. Candidates should have qualified within the profession with a minimum of five years’ experience, be able to demonstrate a range of audit experiences gained within public practice and possess the drive to push boundaries within their personal development. Duties include:

  • Preparation of statutory statements
  • Planning and completing audit and accounts preparation assignments
  • Reviewing and providing quality assurance
  • Building client relationships to create long standing continuous support
  • Leading and developing a team
  • Working alongside senior management
  • Adhoc project work

You must have:

  • Accountancy Qualification (ACA, ACCA ideally)
  • Practice experience (Top 4 is favourable)
  • 5 years Post Qualified Experience
  • Knowledge of UK GAAP and IFRS
  • Self-motivation and strong team player attitude
  • Strong technical and analytical ability
  • Excellent IT and systems skills
