OVERALL JOB PURPOSE (SUMMARY): salary circa £25,000 PA
(Some flexibility depending on experience)
Our client based in Cambridgeshire is looking for an experienced Finance Manager.
MAIN DUTIES
*Update and maintain Sage accounting system, including both posting transactions and improving system to suit.
*Maintain & reconcile Equi2 (construction package) links with Sage
*Reconcile various bank and control accounts
*Accounts payable‐ ensure all invoices posted accurately to Sage and prepare periodic lists for payment runs
*Ensure Accounts receivable effectively managed including suitable credit control
*Prepare quarterly VAT return
*Liaise with external payroll providers and external accountants
*Work with the FD to improve the provision of management information
*Assist with general office duties and be an important part of a small effective team.
