Interim Financial Controller - Temp to Perm

My client, a fast growing SME based in Mid-Cheshire is currently seeking an Interim Financial Controller to join their rapidly expanding Finance team. Whilst this cannot be guaranteed, there it is highly likely that this role will progress into a permanent position, however due to the immediate need this will be offered on a Temp to Perm basis.

Key Responsibilities

• Preparation of Budgets/Cash flow forecast
• Managing a team of 8
• Managing Month-end, Quarter-end and Year-end
• Control Accounts
• Preparation of Board packs/reports to group
• Review and checking of monthly consolidated figures (P&L, Balance Sheet and Board Pack) ensuring accuracy
• Stock Reconciliations
• Commercial analysis
• Overall responsibility for the 13 week cash flow forecasts on a weekly basis, and analysis of all variances between budget and revenue

Person Specification

• Experience with both Sage and SAP would be desirable
• CIMA/ACCA/ACA qualified, or QBE
• Well presented with excellent numeracy and literacy skills
• A self-starter with the ability to communicate to both financial and non-financial stakeholders at all levels
