Application Consultant (Integra) - Home Based (with UK wide travel and overnight stays) Permanent £35,000 - £40,000 + car allowance
Integra
Integra is a modular finance and procurement system, which is deployed in local government and NHS clients.
The main areas covered by the package are the following:
Purchase to Pay, Sales to Cash, Reporting, Budgeting and Forecasting, Business Intelligence, Asset Management, Workflow, Document Management and Project Costing.
Team
The application consultancy team currently consists of six business consultants, most of whom have worked with the company for a number of years.
Due to a number of clients who we have recently acquired we want to increase the size of the team and create a team who have a range experience and levels of knowledge, who will work as a team on a client site to provide a solution.
Role
The role is to work as a support to the existing business consultants to deliver a solution to the client. Initially the work will be in specialist areas where you will be expected to work on your own, with direction and guidance from the business consultant. Areas where we expect this will initially cover as follows:
- Data preparation
- Managing data provided by the client on spreadsheet and checking it for validity
- Data load
- Using tools provided within the software to load the spreadsheet data into the system then checking that the load correctly mirrors the data provided
- Report writing
- Working to a report spec produced by the business consultant to provide the client with data that they require
- Working directly with the client to spec and produce a report (once familiar with the data structure)
- Stationery Design
- Using Crystal Reports to modify sample stationery to the client specifications
- Designing user screens
- Use the tools within the system to design screens to
- capture data for the client
- manage process for the client
- Allow the client to enquire on the data as they need

Location
Based from home, but travelling across the UK, and involving overnight stays. The number of overnight stays will vary throughout the year as it will depend on the location of clients, but some weeks it may be a requirement to stay away for up to 4 nights.
Skills Required
Technical
- Knowledge of procurement and accounting systems
- Use of Crystal Reports
- Good knowledge of Excel
Personal
- Quick learner
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
- Ability to work for a range of clients from public and private sectors at various levels in an organisation
Promotion Prospects
It is expected that someone who is successful in this role will move on to become a full business consultant.
