Financial Analyst

My client, a dynamic Financial services organisation who are going through an exciting growth period and looking to develop their commercial finance team, require a talented Financial Analyst.

Reporting to the Finance director key responsibilities of the role will include,

• Assist in the identification and implementation of changes to processes, systems and controls in order to improve performance, effectiveness and successful achievement of departmental and functional objectives.
• Maintain working relationships with key stakeholders, such as Decision Support, to support the development and implementation of new management information, ensuring that reports are accurate and robust.
• Handle questions and queries from internal management in relation to reports and processes within your product line
• Maintain the policies, procedures and practices of the Management Accounts Team in order to ensure that processes, controls and risk management practices are properly documented, understood and clearly articulated for others to follow as necessary.
• Ensure the work of self is carried out in full compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements and codes of practice and conduct.

Being a qualified accountant you will have a strong analytical experience working in a complex commercial finance function, ideally from within a customer data rich institution.
