Commercial Accountant - Finance Business Partner

This Commercial Accountant opportunity sits within the UK commercial finance team of a global business. Reporting to the Commercial Finance Manager, the Commercial Accountant's remit is to support  the Finance Director and wider business with detailed commercial finance activities by providing high quality analysis and insight on key initiatives to drive growth, increase profitability and reduce costs. Key responsibilities will include: production of business analysis and insights to support strategic decision making; customer profitability analysis; input into pricing decisions; business partnering the commercial team; supporting the FP&A team on budgeting; post investment reviews and ad hoc projects across the business.

The ideal candidate will be an ambitious individual, as this is a high profile role that will offer solid career development within a global organisation. You should have solid management or financial accounting experience with a strong commercial instinct and the desire work in an analytical business partnering role. You must have excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills and well-developed use of Microsoft applications – Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint. The ideal candidate will be at least latter stage qualified or a qualified accountant.
