Senior Management Accountant

The Consultancy Group are proud to be partnering with a headquarters of a multi-national advertising and marketing network to hire a Senior Management Accountant to look after a small team of 3 junior Management Accountants.

As the Senior Management Accountant you will be responsible for maintaining the general ledger and the group reporting for your teams entities. The team you will mentor will each have their own entities they are responsible for.

Key responsibilities:

• Responsible for several group entities
• Review and post journals
• Fixed Asset (FA) Ledger
• High level balance sheet and income statement analytical review
• Completion of Hyperion reporting packs for review and approval by agency CFO
• Reconcile Balance sheet accounts (excluding bank)
• Prepare monthly balance sheet review packs
• Liaison with internal and external auditors
• Arrange and chair monthly balance sheet review meetings with FDs
• Review and post journals created by direct reports
• Hold One to Ones with direct reports on a monthly basis

To be considered for this role you must have a good understanding of managing a small team and be qualified by experience or working towards either ACCA or CIMA. You will ideally have working knowledge of SAP and have 2-3 years' experience in a similar role.
