The Global Accounting Manager reports to the CFO based in the US and is responsible for managing the consolidation and oversight of financial reporting for Haas Formula LLC. You will oversee one member of staff and manage the monthly closing and financial reporting process, including quarterly and annual tax supplemental reporting. Using your business partnering skills you will lead the annual budget and quarterly forecast process and complete financial analysis of business unit performance and trends along with preparation of monthly financial review package and other ad hoc financial reports.

This broad-spectrum role incorporates the preparation of annual corporate income tax compliance information in conjunction with external advisers and supports all enquiries from HMRC and Italian tax authorities. You will prepare UK quarterly VAT returns and oversee Italian VAT reporting as well as annual transfer pricing updates.  You will ensure timely completion of monthly reconciliation and participate in routine forecasting processes. There will be an emphasis on continuous improvement and lean initiatives as well as proactively recommending areas for improvement or risk avoidance.

The successful candidate will be qualified with experience in accounting, financial reporting and business analysis gained in a commercial environment. You will have strong communication skills and be able to liaise with teams across the business as well as having a positive work ethic and a desire to operate at the highest standards. Knowledge of UK GAAP, financial statement presentations and a working knowledge of US GAAP are essential. You will be able to demonstrate the ability to synthesize complex and/or diverse information and analyse and research data and have excellent project management skills and be able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Most importantly you will be a self-starter who can work in a flat management structure that delivers plenty of autonomy and decision-making capability.
