CIMA Qualified / Finalist Accountant

With our Client we are looking to appoint an CIMA Qualified / Finalist Accountant - the role is based in the heart of Manchester. The role will require travel to sites in Leeds and Sheffield, our Client offers a Company Car Allowance.

Reporting to the UK Finance Controller, this is a senior appointment for our Client and also represents succession planning as the current FC looks to further expand her role.

The role requires a strong personal presence - a character who can work with Finance and Non Finance Managers - someone who can assist Managers with the decision making processes.

Your role will require you to take the lead across;

• Preparation of Monthly Management Accounts
• Prepare Monthly Profit and Loss Review and also preparation of detailed KPI Reporting
• Annually work to assist with preparation of Budgets
• Works closely with Auditors in respect of Year End
• Have dotted line responsibility for the Sales and Purchase Ledger Teams and Functions
• Ad hoc duties as required
