As part of this busy team, in a Top 10 Accountancy Practice, you will be working closely with and supporting senior members of your team in the delivery of services.

As a senior business adviser, you will understand clients' business needs to ensure that the Firm continues to deliver relevant solutions.

Your new role
You will work independently and will be accountable for the delivery of the project to the manager for review, being the first point of contact for our clients throughout the project. In addition to accounting capabilities, you will have a rounded business knowledge, be able to analyse client data, make recommendations and talk credibly to clients on the issues they face such as current trading position, future outlook and legislative changes.

You will review financial data, present ideas and make recommendations; prepare statutory/partnership accounts under UK GAAP and other accounting frameworks such as IFRS and FRS102.

You will liaise with internal and external auditors and preparing year end accounting files for them; prepare and explain periodic management accounts and have experience of various cloud based accounting packages; provide proactive analysis of client data and communicate directly with client on current issues, future trading, relevant legislative changes.

What you'll need to succeed
You will have the ability to organise your work efficiently to meet project deadlines and client expectations, whilst sharing knowledge and ideas openly with colleagues. You will be attending and contributing at client meetings with other members of the team. You will also be able to build a network of professional contacts and be involved in business development with both existing and new clients.

You will be ACCA/ACA qualified; and have good knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
