Payroll Specialist job in Manchester city centre, for a well-known law firm, stand-alone position
Your new company
A well-know, internationally recognised legal firm with headquarters based in Manchester city centre. This business has a friendly, fast paced, culture and promotes personal development. There is currently a job vacancy for a temporary Payroll Specialist to join their HR team, there is the potential for a permanent role following successful completion of the contract.
Your new role
Reporting to the HR Manager you will take responsibility for an outsourced payroll for 2500 employees, all paid on a monthly basis. You will liaise with the outsourced payroll provider to successfully pay employees promptly and in a timely fashion, you will improve processes and procedures to drive efficiency and reduce errors.
What you'll need to succeed
You must be immediately available or available at short notice. You will be an experienced payroll candidate, ideally with outsourced payroll experience although this organisation will consider candidates who have purely in-house pay experience. You will be able to manage a high volume payroll, be excellent with systems and able to drive improvements.
