Interim Finance Manager - Sports

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone to join and internationally recognised sports business based in Central London. The role is a Temp Finance Manager which will be overseeing a team of 3 juniors. The role is to provide high quality financial support to the Sports organisation, being a central focus for other departments acting as both a resource and point of contact to enable smooth financial running of the organisation.

Responsibilities:

prepare monthly management accounts

• prepare forecasts analyzing variances and exploring potential problems with senior management staff
• reporting to the Finance Director meet with the senior management team to discuss and prepare draft budgets
• review monthly bank reconciliations and other major balance sheet accounts
• manage Sales and Purchased Ledger
• oversee day to day banking arrangements, cash holdings and appropriate mandates
• ensure financial controls are enforced and updated as required
• provide line management support as required
• Various other commercial duties before and and around match days
