Finance Analyst

Elevation Accountancy & Finance are currently recruiting a Finance Analyst for a leading Wakefield based organisation. This is an ideal role for someone with strong data skills looking to get in to a more commercial position, with close links to senior management and decision makers.

As a Finance Analyst you will be responsible for supporting the Commercial Finance Manager in delivering planned performance and providing strong financial guidance on operational activity throughout the business. On a day to day you should expect:

*Analyse and report on Financial Performance to the operation identifying key risk areas and suggesting improvements
*Process large amounts of data on key monthly deliverables, processing monthly financial performance packs
*Present to stakeholders on KPI data findings
*Provide financial support to key strategic projects in the business
*Be able to present to non finance staff

Your profile
*You will have strong data manipulation skills, particularly Excel (V Lookups, Pivot Tables, Macros)
*Have the ability to translate large sets of data in to commercial business aims
*You will have strong communication skills
