An independent property firm based in South London is looking for an ambitious Junior Accountant to join their fast paced and progressive finance team.
If you are looking for a business to help develop your existing technical accounting skills / knowledge, this supportive team will really push you to challenge yourself without throwing you in at the deep end.
Duties will involve:
- Quarterly period close procedures including, but not limited to, journal postings, balance sheet reconciliations and detailed review of company trial balances
- Production of various quarterly reports for designated subsidiaries including:
o Comprehensive variance analysis
o Development cost reports
o Management accounts
o VAT returns - Preparation of monthly reporting for the Group's business centres, including day to day interaction with
business centre staff - Production year-end audit files for designated subsidiaries and liaising with company auditors as required
- Preparation of the annual statutory accounts for designated subsidiaries in accordance with FRS101
Experience required:
- 12 - 18 months finance experience with some month end exposure
- Finance related degree
- ACCA, CIMA or ACA studier
- Some month end exposure
