fdu’s clients is an award winning International Professional Services business looking to hire a Finance Business Partner in a newly created position. With current revenues of £100m the business is preparing to execute an ambitious growth strategy over the next three years.

The Finance team is fully integrated into the business and the success of this role will play a key part in assisting with the Company’s aggressive growth plans.

Finance Business Partnering:

  • Sits as a key member the Finance Team providing support to wider business on all aspects of budgeting, financial performance reporting & forecasting and financial business analysis
  • Develop a sweep of Dashboards or other suitable reporting framework which provides insightful management reporting and a 360-degree view of performance
  • Liaise and engage with business stakeholders to resolve any issues/queries and overcome any potential issues, communicating key conclusions to senior management
  • Provide regular financial and management information to the business which pays due regard to business units and business streams, and delivers timely, meaningful and accurate forecasting

Management Accounting:

  • Group consolidated management accounts – ensuring timely and accurate production of monthly pack including commentary and analysis
  • Cash flow forecasting and planning
  • Production of meaningful Management Information with analysis
  • Audit/Year end statutory reporting– oversee process and relationship with external auditors and financial advisory. Ensure all company statutory requirements are completed

Background required:

  • Qualified accountant: ACA/CIMA/ACCA
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Ability to make key commercial decisions
  • Strong business reporting skills
  • SME experience is advantageous
