Ignata Finance are working with an international award winning business located in Crawley for the recruitment of a Senior Finance Analyst. This is a superb opportunity aimed at candidates who are either coming towards the end of their ACCA or CIMA finals or those who have recently qualified. You will be part of a high performing FP&A team and you will play a pivotal role in the production of detailed financial reports for the various business units, as well as involvement in strategy and 5 year planning. You will be primarily responsible for driving business profitability and ensuring all projects are financial planned accordingly.

Due to the nature of the role you will ideally match the following:

  • Currently working for a medium to large organisation with experience of analysing large qualities of data
  • Confident producing financial reports
  • Some degree of business partnering experience
  • Must be able to use Excel to an intermediate standard. Financial modelling experience would be preferred.
  • Involvement in 5 year planning would be a huge advantage
  • Qualified ACCA or CIMA Accountant (Finalist’s will be considered and those who are ACA qualified straight from practice if you can demonstrate transferable experience)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Play a key part in supporting the head of finance to deliver accurate and timely 5 year planning and forecasting.
  • Full production of financial reports taken from analysing key performance indicators across the various business units.
  • Work with business partners to ensure financial information is communicated to ensure strategic planning is aligned.
  • Accountable for providing full insight via detailed commentary ensuring any risks and opportunities are identified and communicated with the relevant stakeholders.
  • Responsible for tracking cost v budget.
  • Take a lead in project management – this will include conducting detailed analysis and identifying any risks and opportunities which may be anticipated.
  • Through accurate financial modelling you will track projects and ensure immediate action is taken if not on track. You will ensure any variances are communicated to stakeholders and business partners.
