Accounts Payable Supervisor

A company operating within the leisure and tourism industry requires an Accounts Payable Supervisor to join their ever expanding finance department. This is an exciting time to be joining a growing and flourishing organisation. Based in the Central London head office, you'll manage a team of two in a dynamic, rewarding and sociable environment.

Role responsibilities -

• Manage, supervise and mentor two accounts payable assistants
• Supervise invoice and expense processing
• Processing/Reviewing BACS/CHAPS payments
• Reconcile and review vendor/supplier statements
• Cash allocation
• Self billing and payment processing
• Cash payment forecasts
• Pursue Accounts Payable process improvements, creating more robust controls and driving efficiencies
• Perform ad hoc duties and support the general finance function as and when required

Candidate requirements -

• 4+ years of Accounts Payable/Purchase Ledger experience
• Netsuite or Concur experience would be beneficial however not essential
• Excellent attention to detail
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment
• Previous managerial/supervisory experience however those without it will be considered providing they have had a long term career within Accounts Payable
• Strong communication skills required
