Finance Analyst - PART TIME

A company operating within the Solar Energy industry requires a Commercial Accountant to join their Finance team on a part time basis. Based in Central London, you'll be joining a hardworking, sociable, rewarding and collegiate environment. Offering flexible working hours with a requirement of 4 days in the office/25 hours per week. The role also offers managerial exposure as the successful candidate will be responsible for one member of staff and report directly in to the Finance Director.

Roles Responsibilities include the following -

• Preparing and presenting management information to directors
• Preparation of budgets/forecasts with directors
• Preparation of cash flow projections
• Managing relationship with Lloyds
• Review project sales revenue and project costs
• Relationship manager for company-wide insurance
• Prepare management accounts
• Review nominal ledger
• Process indirect cost allocation
• Monthly reconciliation of sales and purchase ledger
• Monitor month end close
• Review prepayments and accruals
• Prepare VAT analysis
• Reconcile control accounts on a monthly basis
• Assist with year end audits
• Financial administration and internal audits
• Manage/Oversee stock movements
• Other ad hoc duties as and when required

Candidate Requirements -

• Experience using SAGE
• Experience with system migration/implementations will be beneficial
• Experience of the solar, retail or consulting industries would be advantageous however not essential
• Qualified or part qualified ACCA/CIMA/ACA (or equivalent)
• Strong communication skills
• Previous managerial experience will be beneficial
