Technical Accountant

TECHNICAL ACCOUNTANT REQUIRED FOR INTERNATIONAL INSURER BASED IN CENTRAL LONDON

Your new company
Your new company is a leading insurance business with global operations. You will be sitting in their London head office in the group finance function. They have gone through a period of change and have ongoing growth plans in place

Your new role
Sitting in the group finance function you will be responsible for the technical accounting requirements for the group. A main focus of the role will be leading the IFRS17 project, working with the technical reporting team on the implementation.

What you'll need to succeed
You will be a qualified accountant who is technically strong in accounting within insurance. You will ideally be working on an IFRS17 project in your most recent role, however accountants with strong solvency II and IFRS knowledge within a large complex organisation may also be considered.

What you'll get in return
You will be on an initial 3-6 month contract that is likely to role. The roles are also being recruited on a permanent basis so there is potential for it to go on longer or go permanent will be working for a business who are global leaders and have exciting change plans. They are offering a competitive daily rate £500-£700/day - however there may be flexibility for the right candidate.
