Finance Analyst

Our client, a consistently evolving and truly dynamic FTSE entity, is looking to source a top calibre Finance Analyst to join in a newly created position. You will be part of a high performing team with a reputation for change and excellence, giving you great visibility across the business when you look for your first internal move after c months.

You will have balance sheet responsibility for a fast-growing and increasingly complex group, preparing a reporting pack for the FC and presenting a review to Senior Management, including the CFO.

Main duties include:

* Participate in projects supporting the business, driving improvements to accounting and reporting that support the growth strategy
* Lead the balance sheet review process and implement efficiencies where possible
* Assist the FP&A team with preparing reconciliations
* Prepare monthly pack with high quality variance analysis and commentary
* Prepare balance sheet review presentation to senior team
* Supervise and support fixed asset reporting team

Key skills & experience required:

* Qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA Qualified/Finalist
* Strong academics, educated to degree level
* Competent Excel user
* Positive & proactive attitude, with a collaborative nature
* Highly numerate and analytical with a keen eye for details that is deadline focused and goal orientated
* Confident and effective communicator, capable of building relationships with internal and external stakeholders
* Enthusiastic to learn and develop
