Based in central London my client is a quoted (LSE) industrial group with an opening in its Business Development team for an ACA to join the team as a Manager.
This is a high profile opportunity for a qualified ACA , who wants to move away from a pure reporting role to a position where he/she can influence, growth and change by the effective use and interpretation of data.
Business Development Analyst (or Manager)
- Supporting Director of Business Development in developing new licence and partnership opportunities
- Provision of financial analysis, including advanced financial modelling
- Development and presentation of business cases
- Conducting and updating analysis of market research data (Freedonia, Pöyry, other) for inclusion in business case presentations
- Participating in client calls and supporting the Business Development team in the establishment of effective multi-tier relationships with customers and partners
- Maintaining up-to-date base case economic models for group companies including coordinating regular updates with technology teams and updating global factor adjustments
- Responding to licence enquiries received via website
- Establishing / maintaining investor data rooms
- Reviewing and providing input on licence and partnership agreements
Risk Management & Compliance
- Accountable for the effective management of owned risks.
- Assist in identifying and implementing processes to control risks.
- Be fully conversant and compliant with the Company’s Health & Safety policy and procedures.
- Where self or a team member identifies a potential Health & Safety risk, escalate this to the Head of Health & Safety immediately.
Comply with all relevant company policies and procedures at all times.
Qualifications and experience
- Bachelor’s Degree or higher (engineering, chemistry or economics preferred)
- Must have proven modelling, presentation and financial analysis skills
- Experience of preparing investor and analyst presentations, scripts and Q&A for results road-shows would be advantageous
- Preferably at least 2 years Investment Banking Corporate Finance Analyst or ACA qualified
- Project Finance or similar advanced financial modelling experience essential
